The families that I get the chance to work with each day. 

Why do you like teaching at HCS?

It is a wonderful and positive place to come to each day.

Family. I feel like between the children that fill the classrooms, the supportive families and the staff, we all work together, rooted in Christ. 

How do you integrate faith and learning at HCS?

Formally through Bible curriculum and chapel. But also organically through conflict resolution and class prayers for each other. 

What is a unique experience, talent or interest that you bring to your classroom to help shape the learning experience of your students?

I do my best to create a safe environment to allow my students to ask questions, make mistakes and grow.

Empathy!
