We Cultivate Unique Thrivers

A Place Where Personalities Thrive

Every child is created in God’s image, but that doesn’t mean they’re all the same. Our comprehensive curriculum and individualized learning approach ensure that elementary school is a time when horizons expand, dreams form, and identities develop.

The Elementary School Mission

Our mission is that elementary school children would grow in their love for learning, foster lasting friendships, and continue with the foundation for thriving in middle school.

The Attention Students Deserve

With a 12:1 student to teacher ratio in most classes, all our students receive the care and attention they need in order to thrive in every area of their lives.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the student/teacher ratio for elementary school?

Our 1st grade – 5th grade students will benefit from a 12:1 student teacher ratio.

My student will be transferring in from a public school, will he struggle to keep up at your school?

At HCS, our academic rigor tends to run approximately three – six months ahead of most public school programs. All students who are considering admission at HCS are required to take an enrollment assessment. This allows us to get an objective overview of their current academic abilities. Some transfer students may need a few tutoring sessions over the summer to confidently start the fall semester. We also offer complimentary summer phonics workshops for 1st and 2nd grade levels.

What curriculum do you use for your elementary school program?

Each of our elementary grade levels will use a variety of educational publishers and works of literature as part of their curriculum. Please contact our Admissions Office for a detailed overview of your child’s particular grade level(s).
