Tuition & Fees
Straightforward pricing, no hidden fees, and one of the most affordable private Christian educations in Orange County.
A Private Christian Education That's Built to Be Within Reach
Choosing a private school is a significant decision, and we know cost is part of that conversation.
At Huntington Christian School, we've worked hard to keep tuition as accessible as possible, not by cutting corners, but through careful stewardship and the generosity of families who believe in what we're building here.
What you're investing in is a 12:1 student-to-teacher ratio, a curriculum that runs three to six months ahead of grade level, dual accreditation from both ACSI and WASC, and a faculty that is credentialed, faith-active, and genuinely invested in your child. Eighty percent of HCS graduates go on to enter the Honors or AP track in high school.

Why We Keep Tuition as Low as We Can
At HCS, we believe a Christ-centered education should be accessible to the families who want it. Every year, the generosity of our community - through donations, careful financial stewardship, and ongoing investment in the school - makes it possible for us to hold the line on cost without holding back on quality. We're grateful for every family that makes that possible.
Tuition Questions We Hear Most Often
When is tuition due each month?
Tuition payments are made over 11 months, from June through May. No tuition payment is due in January, instead, the annual registration fee for the following school year is collected that month.
Is there a discount for families with more than one child at HCS?
Yes. Families with more than one child enrolled at HCS receive a discount of $325 per year for each additional child.
Is there a discount for setting up automatic payments?
Yes. Families who pay via ACH auto-withdrawal receive a discounted tuition rate. For the 2026/2027 school year, that brings Elementary tuition to $11,220 ($1,020/mo) and Middle School tuition to $12,199 ($1,109/mo).
Are there fees for books, field trips, or school activities?
No. Tuition covers all textbooks, classroom materials, field trips, and school activities. There are no surprise add-ons for the core school experience.
What additional costs should we budget for?
Outside of tuition, families should budget for the annual enrollment fee, school uniforms, and - for middle school students - a Chromebook purchased through the school. Families whose students participate in middle school sports will also pay an athletic fee. Optional overnight trips in 4th, 6th, and 8th grade carry additional costs as well.
