Valerie Wong

Fourth Grade

Although born in California, I grew up overseas as a missionary kid which gave me the chance to experience different cultures, meet all kinds of people, and see the world from a young age. Later, my family moved back to California to help start a church in Orange County. Growing up in a family in the ministry, faith, community, and serving others have always been a big part of my life. These experiences naturally led me to a career in teaching and ultimately a job at HCS. I have been so blessed to be a teacher here at HCS for over 20 years.

Biola University - BA in Liberal Studies, Biola University - Post Grad Work in Elementary Education

"Growing up school wasn’t really a priority for me, until a teacher saw my potential and encouraged me to aim higher. From that point on, I learned to work hard, strive for more, and do my best. God has been faithful in guiding me on my journey both as a student and a teacher. It is my hope that I can do the same for the students in my class."
