Middle School

Since joining HCS in 2007, I have taught a variety of middle school classes, with history and English being my favorites. Each year, I also work with a creative student staff to produce the HCS yearbook. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching for me is being part of a supportive community and watching students grow into confident learners throughout their middle school years.

"One of my favorite things about the HCS is the community of teachers, students, and families that is created as we support one another. Whether we’re celebrating accomplishments in and outside of the classroom, cheering on our middle school sports teams, or walking alongside each other through life’s challenges, there is a deep sense of connection and care that truly stands out. Some of my favorite memories at HCS aren’t tied to a single moment, but to that feeling of doing life together."
