Melany Cope

Fifth Grade

I have been teaching at HCS since 2013. Watching my own children learn and grow as they went through Kindergarten-8th grade at HCS was the ultimate blessing. What a joy it was for me when God called me to teach at this school. I have spent every year being blessed by the students and families I get to work with. This school is not only the best place to work at, it is a family.

California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, California Reading Specialist Credential, ACSI teaching credential

A Note from Melany:

"I love teaching at HCS because I get to instill the love of Christ in every lesson. When I see former students out in the community, and they come up to me and give me a hug, I know that they felt that love in my classroom. Being called to teach is blessing, but being called to teach at a Christian school and teach about Jesus is humbling. Each day I get to grow in my love for the students and for Jesus."
