Katie Shinrock

Second Grade

I have been teaching at HCS since 2019. Before joining the teaching staff, I worked with Kids Overtime, the summer camp program, and served as a substitute teacher at HCS. I also attended HCS from kindergarten through 8th grade, making it especially meaningful to now teach in the same community that helped shape me. Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing sports, walking at the beach, coaching, and spending time with family and friends.

"What I love most about teaching at HCS is being able to work alongside such an amazing staff and student body each day. Being part of a community that shares a strong love for Jesus is something that truly excites and encourages me. I love having the chance to help students grow not only academically, but also spiritually and as individuals. Seeing students build confidence, learn new things, and grow in their faith is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do."
